Q: Do you have to be a legal resident of the United States?

A: Yes. Black Virtual Solutions requires that all individuals seeking to become CSP must legally reside in the United States and be legal to work within the United States. However, Arise has made a business decision to not support the provision of services from the following states: Puerto Rico, California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, Oregon, or Wisconsin.

 

Q: What does the work involve?

A: You will choose the client you wish to service. The work typically consists in taking inbound customer calls involving customer service. There can be an element of sales involved. Opportunities will be given to you once you have completed the Admissions process.

 

Q: What is the minimum age to become a virtual agent?

A: You must be 18 years old or older at the time to apply with Black Virtual Solutions.

 

Q: I am interested in employment with Black Virtual Solutions. How do I apply?

A: The first step is to start the admissions process. Complete the background check (varies by state and/or country).

​Q: How long will it take before I start making money with Black Virtual Solutions?

A: The Admissions process can be completed in as little as three to five days! Certification courses required to service a particular client can take between two days and several weeks to complete. Once you join our Virtual Services Corporation and obtained the certifications, you are then eligible to begin earning income by servicing that client. You can begin working from home and earning REAL money in as little as 21 days.

 

Q: How many hours may I work?

A: You can work as many hours as you desire. However, there is a minimum of 20 hours per week. We have work from home opportunities for CSP’s to service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The hours available for a specific client will be outlined in the Opportunity Announcements you receive once you complete the Admissions Process.

 

Q: Why is a background check required and what are the deciding factors to continue with the process?

A: Both Black Virtual Solutions and our clients have high standards. Client Support Professionals (CSPs) provide key services for each client program and have access to confidential information; therefore a background check is required to ensure that each potential CSP’s identity is confirmed and free from criminal history.

Black Virtual Solutions does not allow anyone to service a client program who was convicted, pled guilty, pled no contest, or had adjudication withheld to any felony or certain misdemeanor charges; including but not limited to theft, fraud, identity theft, or other similar violations.

 

Q: When can I see what clients’ programs are available?

A: Whenever a new work from home opportunity is available, it is posted in the Arise portal. The posting of course schedules vary by program and can be seen at any time once they have been posted in the Arise portal. Kindly note that you are only able to view class details that are available to your company and do not present any conflicts with additional enrollments.

 

Q: What times during the day do classes typically run?

A: Live classes most often run at 9:00 am EST and 7:00 pm EST. Additional times may also be available depending on the class.
 

Q: I accidentally enrolled in the wrong course time, can I switch the time?

A: Changing the course time is not guaranteed as it is subject to availability. We strongly suggest that you not enroll in any opportunity until you are 100% sure that the course time is the correct one.

 

 

Q: What is the Course Drop Policy?

A: Course drop policy will be enforced when you have dropped an opportunity in which you have already enrolled and paid for. After dropping the opportunity you will become ineligible to express interest in a new opportunity for a period of 30 days after the course drop.

 

Q: How do I contact the Technical Support Desk?

A: The Technical Support Desk may be reached by logging into the Arise portal and following the “Support” link in the top, right-hand corner. Once connected, the Virtual Assistant (AVA) will be prompted and ready to respond to your question(s). If AVA is unable to offer the assistance needed, a chat window will be made available, allowing for immediate conversation with one of our live support team members.

 

Q: How will I be paid?

A: You will be paid every 15th and 31st (or last day of the month) via direct deposit. If that day is a National Holiday or weekend, your paycheck will be processed the business day beforehand. If you prefer us to mail you a check we can. We are not responsible if check does not reach you. A $30.00 check stop fee will be deducted from your pay if you should lose or not receive a check. We do offer USPS Certified Mail or Priority Mail for $6.99 to mail a paycheck for peace of mind. Or we do offer free standard mailing.

 

Q: How will I get my income tax information?

A: You will be receiving a 1099 as an Independent Contractor to file your tax return.

 

Q: Must I pay any weekly/monthly fees to service under Black Virtual Solutions?

A: YES, Black Virtual Solutions DOES deduct a bi weekly platform fee of $10, and the CSP is also responsible for the bi weekly $19.95 Arise platform fee. NOTE: NO other deductions, fees, or percentages will be taken from the hourly wages OR commissions earned by the customer service partner (CSP).

Home Office Requirements

A desktop/tower computer with a separate monitor is recommended.

Note: All-in-one computers and Apple Mac computers may not be compatible with some client programs. Please refer to the opportunity announcement for additional requirements. Dual boot machines, Netbooks, and Tablets are prohibited from use.

 

Accessories

Each of the below accessories is required:

 

1. USB headset with microphone (required for Certification)
Logitech, Plantronics, Microsoft, or similar brands recommended.

 

2. Hard-wired Telephone and headset (required for Production)
Plantronics T10 or similar recommended.

 

Software

  1. Internet Browsers
    Internet Explorer 8.0 or 11 or Edge on Windows 7, 8 and 10
    Mozilla (Firefox 14 to 42) both Windows and Mac
    Safari 8 or 9 (Apple Mac only)
    *Please note that Google Chrome Browsers are not compatible with the Black Virtual Solutions platform.

  2. Microsoft Security Essentials for Windows
    Other security software may be incompatible and should be avoided. Technical support may be refused if your company’s software configuration is not compatible with the Black Virtual Solutions platform or is determined to cause incompatibilities with client required servicing software.
     

Note: You are responsible for maintaining the security and reliability of its equipment.

 

The following items are considered security risks to the ARISE platform and, upon detection, may subject your company to the suspension or termination of its MSA or SOW:

  • Malware infected software
    • Virtualized Operating Systems (ie: VMWare, Parallels, etc.)
    • Non-ARISE provided VPN software or Proxy settings
    • TOR or other privacy software


Internet and Phone Service Providers
1. Hard-wired broadband Internet service via DSL, Cable, or Fiber Optic connection.

Note: The use of wireless connections to access any ARISE system at any time is prohibited, even if the connection is encrypted. Connectivity to the ARISE platform through an unauthorized Proxy Service or unauthorized VPN Service is strictly prohibited. Additionally, Satellite, Microwave, and Cellular Hotspot Internet Services are not permitted. USB connected modems are not supported.


2. Hard-wired landline telephone service

Note: Unless stated otherwise in the opportunity announcement, most client programs are compatible with the following types of services: POTS (plain old telephone service), cable telephone, digital service, or business class VoIP. The service should be connected directly from the wall to your telephone. Softphones and cell phones are not permitted. The servicing telephone line should not interface at any point with the computer. The servicing telephone line should not have voicemail, fax, or other features on the line (other than long distance, if necessary).

       In order to use the ARISE platform, below are the minimum system requirements your equipment must meet:

  2. Memory: 2 GB of RAM or better 2 GB of RAM or better

  3. Operating System: Windows 7, Windows 8/8.1 and NEW! Windows 10 MAC OS X 10.10 Yosemite

  2. Minimum 3.0mbps download

  3. Minimum 1.0mbps upload
